Join us in the virtual Wild Goose community for a talk about how to really know and trust your child(ren) to help them become fully who God has always intended them to be--and how to stop playing God for them by trying to reassure their safety and success at all times. We’ll apply these concepts practically, everything from: how to help your younger children keep on-pace with social development during a pandemic that has shut down the usual pathways, like sleepaway camp and school; to how to surrender your older children to the social movement that is calling them to the streets and to deeper, more risky political engagement in the Way of Jesus. As a foundation for all of this, we'll talk about what it might look like to let go of fear in parenting and how our progressive faith can help us be a little bit more fearless in our families.
